My
young, major pointed Sweetie is out out of Ch. Lollypop and sired by Ch. Hugely.

What's Behind Sweetie.
She went all the way to New Mexico to be shown and bred to (almost Ch.) Speed Bump O'BJ, pictured right.
Speed Bump is by Lucky Dog (Ch. LollyPop's litter brother) and his dam is Ch. Getta Blaze O'BJ. Proven breedings that produced excellent conformation, health, attitude and personality. Sweetie is due in mid-November.
Ch. Getta Garbo O'BJ, one of the top winning puppy bitches of all time. See her page with litter sister, Ch. Getta Blaze.
Garbo became a champion at barely 7 months, beating the
boys, including top winning male Chs. and charming the judges. Garbo
is my little Jane daughter, more precious than her 5.5 pounds in
gold. We had planned to repeat-breed her to Lucky Dog or to a young male I
kept locally because although he was borderline big for the show ring, he was
drop-dead handsome and also sired by Lucky Dog, out of Ch. Getta Blaze.
Well Garbo loves Hugely so much, and it's mutual, so they bred well before she should have even been receptive! I separated them of course but that meant she couldn't be bred to Lucky Dog or Dante as planned.
So Ch. Garbo is also due mid-November. Admittedly unplanned but now eagerly anticipated.
We're waiting for Lollypup to finish her championship next year and then we want to breed her to Dante as well. In the meantime, I may get back to to shows and hopefully, with one of Garbo sons and a daughter of Sweetie.
Ch. Fannie Mae O'BJ will also be bred again but that's later next year. I've kept her daughter "Annie", sired by Hugely. Her brother "Andy" is the male "puppy for sale and he can go at pet price but only because his blaze is too wide.
Fannie's grandsire is the all-time top UKC sire and her mother is Zippo.
Again, the extremely successful blending of two separate but distinctive
bloodlines.
I love this candid of Lolly and Lucky. They had played in the morning sun, shared coffee with Bill, and finally, they each crawled into his slippers and fell asleep. Those were good days...
